My wife and I started Tenkara SA after being introduced to fly fishing and identifying a gap in the market. We where looking around and doing our homework on equipment, Rods and reels and found that there are only two main suppliers in the market and that both of them provide almost the same products. After a lot of research and shopping around we managed to find a better product at a fraction of the Price. I did spin fishing before and always thought that fly-fishing is only for the older generation and something to do after retirement. What a wakeup call. Fly fishing is not just fishing there are so much more to it, Research to find the right fly to mimic the insects of the aria you are fishing, the hunt - looking for the perfect spot where the Fish are feeding and then the cast - to put the fly in just the right place for the fish to take it....
