As in fly-fishing, It is the tenkara line that propels the weightless fly forward. there are two types of line,The Furled Line increases the acurasy of your fly placement and the Nutral fly line makes it easyer to cast in high Wind Conditions.
The Fly
Traditionally a special reverse hackle wet-fly is used. These traditional Japanese flies differ from most Western flies, in that the hackle is tied facing forward.
