Leeukloof Lapa

History

 

Leeukloof Lapa came into being when Jaco our son and his wife Rinalda was looking for a venue in the Garden Route that was located in a forest area and had a fairy like atmosphere.  When they couldn’t find a venue that cater for what they were  looking for, they turned to us.  It was constructed in early 2009 by Peet and Magda, the owners of the venue and the farm.  The original plan was to convert the lapa into a mushroom house after the wedding, but as interest grew after the wedding it was decided to convert it into a wedding and function venue, catering for weddings and functions.  At night with the fairy lights, touches, lamps and candles it turn in to a magical atmosphere and create an image that will stay  in your mind and heart forever.
